Meet the Staff

Tanya Ridpath,  Director of Conference Services

Tanya received her Master of Science degree in Corporate and Professional Communication in the spring of 2006 at Radford University.  Tanya attended Radford University as an undergraduate and is a graduate of Virginia Tech, with a bachelor of Science degree in Interior Design.    Tanya has worked as a Free Lance Interior Designer, and has work experience in general business accounting and marketing.   Tanya began as the Marketing Coordinator for Conference Services in 2000, became Assistant Director in 2001, and was appointed Director in 2004.  In her positions with Conference Services at RU, Tanya has gained an extensive background in event planning and on-line meeting development and works with clients to create brochures, web pages and assists with target marketing to create a maximum impact conference, including all aspects of conference planning.   Some of her other responsibilities include registration management, accounts receivable, accounts payable and budget management for the Conference Services Department.
