Directions
Radford is just 36 miles southwest of
Roanoke and within easy driving distance of many mid-East Coast metropolitan
areas. Richmond is only a three and a half-hour drive, while Washington DC
and the Tidewater area are only four to five hours away.
Transportation
- By car - From Interstate 81, exit
109 onto US Route 177 North. Follow Route 177 which becomes
Tyler Ave. Turn right onto Main Street at the end of Tyler
Ave. A large University sign marks the main entrance on your
right at the second stop light.
- By Air or Bus- Roanoke Regional
Airport and Greyhound Bus Lines provide connections to cities
throughout the country. To get to Radford from the airport, take
Interstate 581-North to Interstate 81-South and follow the directions
for travel by car. Shuttle / limousine service to Radford require advance reservations from Blacksburg Limousine Service at (540) 951-3973 or Roanoke Airport Transportation Service at 1-800-288-1958.

other airports are within driving distance of Radford.
Charlotte-Douglas International Airport is two and a half hours away
in Charlotte, NC. Richmond International Airport is three
and a half hours away in Richmond.
Campus Map
Tyler Ave. is the road that goes along Draper, Ingles, Washington and
ends at Muse (shown in the map above).
Main St. goes along the bottom of the map between Porterfield and the
Art Annex.
The Dedmon Center is located across from the main section of campus,
off of Main St. Turn at the stoplight between Porterfield and the Art
Annex onto University Drive. Continue across the bridge for about 1/2 mile until you get to the Dedmon
Center.
